Ukraine's navy has accused Russia of launching a deadly strike on the Golden Leo, a Turkish cargo ship, which tragically killed six crew members. The attack occurred as the ship was leaving the combat zone with a grain cargo, underscoring the ongoing conflict's impact on civilian lives.

Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga revealed that the crew included citizens from Syria and India, highlighting the international implications of this maritime violence. Prime Minister Sergiy Koretsky confirmed the vessel was hit near Odesa shortly after departing from port, raising urgent questions about the safety of such routes amid ongoing hostilities.

While eight crew members were rescued, two suffered injuries, and four remain unaccounted for. The attack adds to the escalating toll of the war, which has seen Russia intensify its missile strikes across Ukraine, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
